Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how Buddyz collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

• Names you enter: When you create or take a quiz, we store the name you provide alongside your answers or score in our database. No email or account is required.
• Quiz responses: Your quiz answers and scores are stored in Firebase Realtime Database under a randomly generated quiz ID.
• Usage data: We may collect anonymised analytics (page views, session duration) to improve the product. This data cannot be traced back to you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To display quiz results and leaderboards to the quiz creator and participants.
• To let you manage and delete your quizzes via the homepage dashboard.
• To improve platform performance and user experience.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing. Data is only shared with Firebase (Google) as our infrastructure provider, subject to Google's own privacy policies.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage to remember the quizzes you have created or taken on your device. No tracking cookies are placed. Our advertising partner (Google AdSense) may set cookies as part of ad serving — you can opt out via Google's ad settings.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Quiz data persists in our database until you delete it via the homepage dashboard. Deletion removes both the Firebase record and the local storage reference immediately.

6. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
